Wow, very neat. The design and layout looks good, based on the manual. Dang though, 420-480g??? That's as heavy as a Honey Bee King, but with less disk area. I bet it'll be a piggy little thing in the air. Why the heck can't someone do this heli at 320-380g? THEN it would be a worthy micro.

from the video it looks like it flys around fairly well, those guys sure do like to fly upside down though..........

well going by their battery recommendations it looks like they say a 1000 mah 3s that weighs 93gr or a 1300 mah that weighs 114 gr...... I'd say thats most of the weight right there

Ah yes... well, a TP910 would knock 30g out of that, wouldn't it? The video actually makes it look fairly peppy (and durable). Maybe... just maybe....

How much is shipping from that shop to TX, crazhorse?

Hey, that's not bad. I see they stock the spares too. Be sure and let us know what you think of it when you get it! Maybe we can get a US distributor to stock them if it's worth a hoot!

I googled the name and found some vids of it on YouTube, including some hover testing of one with a 450TH / 11T pinion combo!?! Holy that's the motor I use in my T-Rex that weighs 731g!!

I don't know much about it, I saw it mentioned on another forum with a link to the site that crazhorse posted.

Step 40 in the manual "First step is to mount the belt goodness" LOL

Step 42 looks like the servo mounts are adjustable for different height servos.

Stop it! You are not helping. Believe me, I've already realized that I have a 400DB outrunner, TP1320 packs, a newly-repaired Telebee HH gyro... all I'd need to pick up in addition to the airframe are a couple of HS-55's and another Phoenix 25.

Very cool.

Is it just me, or does that look like a Trex tail box on it?

It would be really cool if it was. Easy replaceable parts.

Love that set pin for the tail shaft too. Easy to replace.

And the main gear is molded to the main pulley.

I want one!

Looks like the tail boom is the same diameter as a trex?

Here's what Liz had to say about this:

"Tell them if they buy it and ship it to you, that you'll build it and take pictures. And I'll even video it."

Because she's just that understanding.
