Sachs 4.2 with Electronic Ignition
This a very good running Sachs 4.2 with a Brison electronic ignition. Includes a single bolt prop adapter. No muffler included. It has 1 fin broken off, (see pic) and the exhaust threads have been raplaced with steel 1/4 x 20 Helicoils. You muffler will NOT come loose.
I have used this engine in a couple of models and it has always served me well. I recently cleaned it up and decarboned the cylinder and piston. I was planning on using it in my 1/4 scale P-39, but just purchased a nice 4.2 with an ignition built into the mount, that will work much better in the nose of the P-39. Reduced to $265 plus shipping. May consider trades for smaller engines, or unbuilt Scale models. |
