Engine disp: 100cc

These will be made in limited numbers and at present we do not offer formed plastic parts. In the case of the engine cowling, only the front bowl would need to be shaped from balsa or laid up, while the access panels and lower surfaces may be flat wrapped with 1/32" plywood or glass sheet over a wood form and built to have a removable upper section for engine access and installation or service. We are also looking into fabricating a plug for the cowling to have a commerically available unit based upon the response to this mail in large part.

Please let me know if I should add yours to the cut list for this month and have a very safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

AAAAAAARRRRRGGGH, why would you do this to me after I just went through all the grief of enlarging my existing plans and buying material?.
I might offer my cowl plug to you for a tidy sum though.
will also be making airfoil struts (aluminum) and strut fairings plugs.
Dammit. you should have posted a week ago and I would have bought from you.

Sorry man. I've been posting about it coming down the pike for about six months. Need I find and show you the threads? I would be interested if you have 28% scale glass parts tooling that will fit ours perfectly. I can send you a set of drawings for the engine cowl, and left and right hand wing strut fairings. Are you making a canopy plug complete with raised door frames?

No, my plans are actually built up balsa cabin area with plastic windscreen, windows fitted into lite ply frames. (the doors open on both sides). The roof is sculpted balsa as well.
if you send me a template of your firewall and fairings , I will measure it up against my plans and let you know about the glass cowl and fairing plugs. After weighing my struts and the gear to make the aluminium struts, the aluminium ones win by quite a bit, as well as being structurally stronger.
Cheers, Wiz.

Same plans it looks. Mine are redrawn from the Dick Graham plans at quarter scale and then also enlarged and redrawn at 3.5 and 2.5 scales. Parts are available for all in laser cut short kits with machined hardwood for spars in wings and tails.
