Who says you can't fly in the snow?
Its been about since I last saw snow living the last 3 years in SD CA. So tonight when I looked out the window and saw that it was snowing I though why not?
Enjoy! Mo. |

Ditto mine, except it's the stock power system, with the last NIMH batteries we own. My wife gave it to me as a joke, since it's so much smaller than everything else we fly.
That was about 4 years ago. The Tiggie has gone camping with us and has flown in several gyms and even a cafeteria. I love it! ![]() CD |

Fun in The Snow
Skis made from two laminations of ply. Steamed to get the curve at the tips. Touch and goes in the snow are so much fun.

Strykers can touch and go in the snow, it's a good idea to water proof the electronics before that though. It kicks up a nice rooster tail, too.

We got 5 inches near Federal Way tonight. This pic is from almost three years ago, but the DS is back on skis for the morning.... wind permitting. Schools will be closed tomorrow, and I don't think I want to slide down the hill to go to Renton in the morning.......
