Nope, becoming a member doesn't cost anything. It is only that way to stop other sites linking directly to the plans and stealing bandwidth.

Did you activate your account first?? I had no problems at all. Also, make sure you are logged in, I got logged out when I went to the plans page.

If in doubt go the PDF!!!! They are the ol faithful.
Ok, I have done the excercise also and yes, have discovered that the DWG file viewer is just that, a viewer.
If you have microsoft office, you can hold down Alt and press PrtSc(print screen) and dump it into excel if you like, you will probably be able to tile it that way but it won't go to scale as such, it will just take a bit of fiddling on a photocopier to get it right. The other way you could do it is take that screen capture and throw it into Paint. A photocopier will also be rather useful. All in all though, the PDF is the goods.
I do have another way if you have a decent internet connection but I cannot discuss here. PM me if you are interested.

Thats the problem I think all the plans for free on the site are DWG. I aint very good with the computer. I did install the viewer but when I click on the file to open it tells me. The files are not licensed formatts. Thats how I like my plans PDF tiled I can open them and print myself instead of having to go to the print shop. Dave

There is a way to tile the PDF's but you need to have Adobe Acrobat Professional(the bought one) to be able to do it. Even if you have the untiled PDF format, your local print shop should be able to still do it for you.
