Question

why hobby-estore's shipping fee so high?

They charge nearly $40 compared to the heli's $100.
Is that reasonable?

I suppose it depends on where you are.
I am in Australia and from the US it costs me $25 aprox for anything meaninful in shipping. There are a few stores like Century that charge outragous shipping to discourage international customers

sometimes they have mhystical formulas to convert dimensions to weight or vice versa, depending on where bigger figures are.

Do Century actually do international orders? Their checkout prevents anyone from outside of the US from ordering.

senosy: where are you located and where is hobby-estore located? You have given no background info for your question.

I just ordered a E620 and the shipping was free. Sounds like you are shopping at the wrong stores. Stores like heliprox.com and onlyraptors.com have free shipping on orders over $100.

volts x amps = watts.

much of it depends on your location, often times you can call the vendor and work out the exact shipping cost if it seems unreasonable. As stated before it is sometimes generalized online due to shipping weights or package sizes. I've paid for things where the shipping charge was more expensive than the part i wanted.

redryder-
yes Century DOES ship internationally, but you have to talk to a sales representative to work out the details. Their online store is Heli-World.com. Their customer service is phenomenal and they'd absolutely work with you.
