High of 49 today here. Winds 10-12. I'm going out for a lunchtime flight. This time of year we take advantage of nice days like today.

I may be weird but I like summer flying the best because I can fly before work when the sun is up at 5:00am.

Getting up at 5:00am is daily routine for me. I get a heck of alot more flying time in the Summer. Early sun rise and late sun set.

It was a balmy 24 degrees and dead calm at sunrise here in NEEbraskEE yesterday. Put on our light cotton gloves and flew for 45 minutes. Then went and had breakfast and told some lies---Life is Good!!!!!!!!!

Oh just go away the lot of you, it's dark, windy, cold and wet here. It will likely remain so for the next four months.

So-so in Ohio... Made it out in the predawn this morning at daybreak for a little bit. Wind was still, and it's always fun when the plane is catching the sun, even though it's still dark all around, but I didn't fly for too long. Lipo's wanted to go curl back up on the couch!

Bob you are welcome to move to AZ anytime. The population isn't growing much.

The lunchtime flights went well. It was 39 degrees when I arrived.
I wore a parka, baseball cap, and flannel lined jeans. That was plenty for the hour I was out there.
