It has been suggested, possibly to prevent the question arising again in various threads, that I post a definitive listing of all my plans, along with details of availability. Rather than double list some types, I'll only list the latest version of a design, which usually means the earlier one has been re-drawn in CAD.

Any plan marked (CAD) is CA drawn and available electronically (PDF) or on paper. Otherwise, paper copies only.
Obviously, I can only speak for the designs I personally have flown but I'd have to say that the Tiger Shark was probably the most challenging to fly. However, that might just be me, I'm not really a low wing, four function siort of flier. It wasn't difficult to fly, but everything happened so fast with it.
Of the scale jobs, the Morane G was the most difficult to trim (as anyone who read my thread will attest). Once trimmed, it's a real pussycat.
I think it more likely that the West Cumbria site just ran out of money. John moved to Florida, and presumably allowed the site to lapse. Funny how reluctant they are to keep sites going when no-one is paying the bills.
Aren't websites terribly complicated and expensive to maintain? I'm certainly no computer whizz, barely being able to send e-mails - and post on e-flight forums. I'm quite sure organising a forum style site is well beyond me and I wouldn't have a clue where to begin if something went wrong with it. I might just be able to cope with a simple site though. VERY SIMPLE - a bit like me really.

Wow Peter , That's some list. Now where's the Sopwith Bat-Boat? I'd love to see this in your list someday soon, one of my most favorite sea planes. I just received my first copy of of Flying Scale Models and theres your FE8 plans. Wow it looks great. Cannot wait for the part set tp arrive. Keep up the great work, it is greatly admired by all of us here on RC Groups.

As one of your many avid followers may I say thank you for this list. All I have to do now is get the new mortgage ....
Mind you it is now getting harder to get the smaller motors I'm finding, and am now having to look at doing my own brushed ESC as many places no longer list them on their web sites!

Setting up a simple site (not a chatter site..why not use here?) is not hard...the two things you have to learn are how to upload files to it, and how to create or edit the files.
Uploading is a little bit harder than email, but not much. Creating means you need to understand a bit of HTML, which isn't THAT hard for simple stuff, or use an HTML editor like DreamWeaver. Once you have that set up its pretty much a question of editing files in a local copy of the site, and then asking dreamwaver to upload the changes.
Its not worth trying to sell stuff directly...best is to simply say what's available and get people to e-mail you with purchase request..thats partially automatable.
I would never farm out a site to someone else..expensive way to lose money. Make it simple enough so that you can do it yourself, and stick to what you know, and its enough. I would certainly get it set up for you to the level where you could take it over..your costs would be some editing software, and the claranet costs.
What I would like to see, is a site that has:-
- a bit about you, how you got started, what you do etc.
- lists of all the designs each one with a link to:-
- a full page on each design, with pictures, links to build threads here, and links to manzanolaser, so that people know where to get the parts, if its laser cut and links to videos of the plane, if available.
Plus any more non copyright material like how to build wire wheels.
Plus any stuff you cared to stick up..
Vintage, if you decide to go ahead with this and you have a copy of Dreamweaver yourself investigate another product called Contribute. I have had great success with getting clients updating their own sites with this. It allows me to set up a site in Dreamweaver and restrict their editing rights using templates and css files to both keep them out of trouble and to maintain the look of the site. It's a lot cheaper to buy than Dreamweaver and is far friendlier for beginners. You can check out a trial version from the Adobe site:
I have recently picked up a copy of one of your planes for a Caudron 1912 monoplane (I think it would be the Caudron N mentioned in your list).
Would it be possible to have a few photos posted? I am having a bit of trouble working out where all the wires end up around the gear. It looks like the outer sets cross over to the other side of the forward sectoin and the inner set to the rear section in the middle..
