Last I heard from Ron, they're actually moving stuff now. That was a couple of weeks ago though, so you locals would probably know better...

I don't know Ron, but it doesn't look like they've moved much stuff out of the store yet. In fact, if anything it seems like they've brought alot more stuff from the warehouse. Probably taking the opportunity to clear out a lot of old kits. That's what I love about Sheldons - lots of old balsa kits that are hard to find elsewhere.

FYI - It's now 50% off. Lots of balsa kits and building supplies left, but very few if any lipo's, ESC's, or small servos left. I walked out of there on Saturday with 3 kits and tons of random supplies for $130.

been a while since i was at sheldons, used to go all the time. i flew gas planes, and that is where i got my first ep zagi, and my second and my third, and my slopers!!

im not sure who ron is but i remember this older asian guy that was rude and honestly never had that great of service from them, but the shop is awesome, beats the little shop i once worked at.

I'd go back and buy more but I have all the supplies that I can store for the time being. Any good kits left?

When I was there on Sunday I noticed a lot of the following planes:
-ACE simple series Corsairs, Cubs, etc. (balsa kit with a foam wing)
-Herr balsa kits
-House of Balsa kits (lots of these)
-Hangar 9 Fokker monoplane ARF's (small electric with 280 motor)
-a few Clancy Yard Bee ARF's

There's also a lot of larger gas plane kits, but I fly small/mid size electrics only so I didn't really pay attention to the gasser stuff.

Yesterday it was 60% off. Nice thread. Surly, yes. Best to know what you want, get in and get out. If you are looking for a nice place, Sheldon's aint the right spot. BTW, I go down the road to AeroMicro for a much nicer and informative experience. The guy there is extremely helpful.

I tried their website, it was pretty sad. No contact info. No selection of goods online. I guess I´ll pass.
