6 Amp ESC that weighs 4g (advertised).
Over here we have the YGE series (Heino Jung):

YGE6 = 0.6g (1.1g with cables), 1A BEC
YGE8 = 2.2g (4.9g with cables), 2A BEC

And MGM has a special brushless controller for 1S Li-poly:
TMM 0703-3 Expert
7 A continuous, 10 A peak, 1 A BEC, 1.1 g (3.7 g with cable & connector).
The Gasparin ESC as used in the miniature 3D plane is a stripped down version of that controller.

1.2 gm servo

If anyone is interested in a 1.2gm servo that has enough power to
control 4 oz fast airplanes. See thread titled 1.2gm servo improvements
under indoor and micro airplanes

The JR R610M receiver is listed here as weighing 9g or 6g without case. Would this be without the antenna and the crystal?

This website http://www.hstore.com.au/ProductSear...rodID=JRPR610M lists the R610M as weighing 11.6g or 9g without the case. I weighed my R610M, with case, full length antenna and crystal it weighs about 12g (not very accurate scales though).

I am thinking of trying the Hyperion DSP4-TSR receiver, listed here http://www.airstrike.com.au/Hyperion%20Receivers.htm as 7g total weight with antenna. Can anyone confirm this weight?

I measured the following components with calibrated laboratory grade scales, rounded to the nearest 0.1g:

GWS EP-7035 2.8g
GWS EP-8040 5.3g
APC 8x3.8 SF 6.5g
APC 9x3.8 SF 8.5g
APC 9x4.7 SF 9g

GWS PICO+BB (including standard wires and a single sided servo arm) 7.5g
The claimed weight for this servo on the card that comes with the servo is 6.2g, and on the side of the servo is 6.5g.

JR R610M (including case, crystal and original antenna) 14.2g
JR R610M (without case but including crystal and original antenna) 11g
The crystal weighs 1.53g (including the plastic end piece).

There are definitely some distributers around who look at the competition and advertise their own products with the specs they'd like them to have rather than telling you what they're really selling. It's infuriating and all too common.
We should really be sending the stuff back and demanding a refund but they know most of the time we won't bother.
Of course there are plenty other specs they could be lying about that are harder to identify. For example are the cells really 360mAh or capable of whatever C rate was claimed.

What's a really good, reliable and accurate scale that has at least a .01g resolution? I did some searches and seems like American Weigh scales are pretty popular but I want to hear from people that have been using different fine resolution scales.
