I hope my comments I made about extended static runs didn't come across as giving anyone a hard time. Definitely didn't mean to offend, just help.

Hopefully I will get some stick time on the FuntanaX this weekend. Working from home does not allow all the flying time I thought it would as it turns out.

No hard feelings... we're all here for the same reason... I wouldn't post anything if I didn't expect some honest feedback! Some people learn by watching, reading, listening, etc.. others take a more expensive path... hopefully both reach the same goal... I just have more stories to tell!!

Hopefully after a marathon flying day tomorrow, I will need lots of spare parts. Should be a good day at least in the morning and I plan to fly the covering off the MFX.

Well, I got the new motor, prop, BEC and SelectScan receiver in today.. unfortunately, today was also the day I took the wife to see the Daughtry concert.. standing on my feet from 5:00 until midnight tonight... now I get 3 hours of sleep, then its up at 4:00 AM to drive to Augusta to watch the tournament. I wish it were warmer this year, but at least with the wind blowing 20 miles an hour, I won't be missing out on any flying! Hopefully I can get everything installed before next weekend.

Anyone crash their yet? I flew mine around today-(pics in blog)-it was great...little to no wind...first time in a LONG time. Funny too, more snow predicted tommorrow. Anyway..anyone got a plane that's are bunged up...maybe one or two parts remaining? I can already see myself getting over confident with it. My first flight I tried hovering at about 15'...mind you first time hovering beyond sim time. The second, and third batteries, I was more like >5 feet. I had a couple close calls. I was looking at the Prices on Horizon...it's almost better to buy a whole new plane. If you got something--a wing, cowl, whatever shoot me an IM. Thanks!

I got my MFX today and all i can say is WOW!!! All the parts are expertly covered with only a few wrinkles that I will take care of with a heat gun later. I just finished cowl and moter (Rimfire 35-36-1000) instilation. I did a static test and it think at WOT it pulls the most of any plane I have!! I think this will end up as one of my favorite planes!
