Registered User I was flying (FPV) this afternoon, it was a beautiful clear blue sky and I was having a great time with my EZ*.....and I began wondering about some of the posts I have seen (especially in the UAV section), where guys add an OSD board and then start to add various instrumentation (altimeter, airspeed, rpm, etc)....and the fancier flyers even add gps. I would like to start simple and have some form of compact, lightweight OSD board and at least altimeter and eventually airspeed.....and I am NOT necessarily wanting the info to be downlinked to any telemetry software on a pc or anything like that. I just want to be able to see my altitude and airspeed in my goggles. Do you have any suggestions or links that you can point me to regarding commercially available OSD board (dont want to build one right now)?

Intuitive Circuits puts one out. It reads its data from a GPS.

Cool. I just emailed Hexpert last night to see about doing that. He said that all it would take is 4 wires to mount the LCD remote from the board. The backlight LED would remain on the board, but he said that shouldnt be a problem as you really only need it for viewing at night. I'll be watching to see how this turns out!

Looks like you moved the LED too though.
