Genovia, may I suggest you brace the wings on the Extra 230 better than what the instructions say? I built one a while back that I flew with a ><shudder>< Cox .051 Killer Bee slimer, and on the secong flight, the wing broke, and I crashed. For the second wing, I added a spar of hardwood dowel, and it never had any trouble with that. Just a thought.

SoSlow,

Thanks, I have thought of that, by doing so, I wouldn't be penalized by adding wieght right?

Thanks, Keith, and have you tried converting it to electric? if so, let me into some of good ideas.

Thanks.

Great job!! That landing gear looks heavy tho.
Consider light weight foasm wheels and thinner aluminum stock.

Nice looking planes, Genovia! Are those the simple 400 series or just the simple series?

Hm, nice birds!!!!! Please post some pics and flight reports when you finished them!
Is the AT-6 made of foam? It doesn't seem to be a wooden plane, but maybe I'm wrong !

Genovia, I'm not sure about the weight, but I had enough power with that engine not to worry too much about it.

Martin, I thought they were all "Simple Series" and there is one of them called the Simple 400, a little sleek rager looking plane, for either glow or a speed 400 electric.

You're probably right... I was only 1/2 aware of the Simple 400, so thought it was an entirely different line of aircraft.
