Next steps will begin the covering I have been give a large roll of henrys like cloth, It is the same product just comertial sized for larger jobs

This will help in not having as much overlap and may help keep the over all weight down on this one..

Lets see how it goes..

More to come later..

I have a wonder cutter. Never thought of using it to cut carbon fiber grooves the way you are using it. Great idea! I will try that.

What is the name and type of cloth you are using. Where can it be found and the name of the mfg. It looks like fiberglass but much wider than Henry's.

All Up weight before glassing begins.. This includes the 2 servos

That glass was a find at a buddies house who was moving out i saw it while helping, it is designed for roof repair but on a large scale and is a comertial product. I asked him where he got it and it was too long ago fror him to remember.. I am on the hunt for it if it works well for this it may work well for others.

This is on a large cardboard spool like wraping paper..

I will attemp to get more info on it, the guy next door does all kinds of repairs with highrises and roofing he may know a source for it next time i see him i will show him and ask..

Something else..

when im working on one of these wings i always keep them in the saddles so that no worps crrep into the cores during the building process it just helps when things are setting up..

So each night or if im not going to work on it a while i load it into the cores and put the weights onto it so force it to hold its shape..

GREAT looking start Paul! Wish I could have seen that one fly before I left reno. Oh well.

Hey CK I want some stickers also. Do you sent them to exsisting customers?

Good luck on the rest of the build Paul...

Well it looks like I'll have to add in some pics myself of my Demon
and mini-me Demon build.

I'm thinking of cutting all the way through for the battery bay to make
more room for the lipos.

Should be a screamer!!!

One question Paul - you went with PU instead of the CK way of joining
the two halves with the 90. One better than the other? I don't think so since
it will be glassed in the end.

Let me clarify that

I used PU in the spar holes for the center spar followed by a spray of water and then ran the CF tube in and out to mix it up.

Did that for both halves

Then to save time i used Hot glue to join the halves togeter and let the mess set up over night in the saddles till the PU cured.

The super 90 works well and is lighter but I like using the hot glue and i have had fair results with it.. Althoug when cutting the bays out the hot glue does not cut as well as the Super 90..

As a sid not i use Hot type hot glue to join the halves but am carfule not to get it so hot that it melts the foam
