coming to San Diego - where can I go to watch

Hey guys,

It just so happens that I'm on my way to San Diego and will be able to watch some SoCal sloping first hand.

Will anyone be flying between Wednesday and Sunday (when I have to fly home)?

Not sure about San Diego, but Point Fermin is about 1 1/2 hours north. Winds permitting there's an F3F race on Saturday which is sure to be followed by lots of lead sled halfpie action. You should come on up.

We'll likely be playing at Poway sometime this weekend depending on the wind which frankly can suck this time of year. We've had it preety good lately though.
There's almost ALWAYS someone at Carlsbad. Palomar Airport Rd. and the coast.

I think Torrey Pines is the most famous .. a lot of locals actually don't like it there due to the restrictions and sharing with full-size gliders. Plus no combat.

Parker Mountain, Laguna Mountain, or Fermin if you'd like to see what SoCal sloping is REALLY about.

Thanks guys!

I'm not yet sure of my schedule (except for picking up a CA Sloper from Dominic ), otherwise can someone tell me where the sites are for Windmills, Fermin and Poway. Thursday and Saturday both look good for me right now.

Perhaps Google Earth *.kmz files ?????
