Pretty sure they're Dubro. The 4-40's balls were too big but the 2-56 has smaller balls and bolts and uses the same exact size plastic piece but with a 2-56 thread. I drilled out some of the plastic and tapped 4-40 threads into it. I think it's going to be the deal.

havn't done anything to it yet still looking for better options.lol,,,,but what you said about drilling was the best i've thought of so far

that's the problem i find with pattern linkage,,sure is nice w/ ball bearing and all but too big

no these 2 are not ,,,But the M-c 3 's are on the way so I must figure all mod's out before they arrive ,,,and that way maybe I can keep it in the air a little longer so I don't have to take out a 2nd on the home to keep in ds planes,lolol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Nick

I am going to do a (Myth Busters Opus Tail Test) tonight and will post the results pic's and all,,,,every 1 can come to there own conclusion and decide if the opus Tail passes the test,,,,,,,,,Nick

Myth busters Opus Tail test


I have completed the tail test(UNTILL FAILURE) results to be posted in about 2 hr's pic's and all,,,,,,It was just as I expected,,,my mod wil be simple if the next test turns out the way I think,,,,,Nick

I dont know for sure but I'll bet that the MC3 Opus tail is more stout than other versions. Are you testing a MC3 tail?
