The packing tape comes from staples in the UK and you can buy a pack with several colours in it.

If you use the reflex xtr sim the su27 shocky and the estratos delta design can be downloaded from

http://www.rc-sim.de/index_en.htm ...downloads reflex planes

the delta weighs in at 12.5 oz..cheapo bell motor,8x4prop,1000mA 11.1v lipo,
usual stuff, slightly larger span. less flight time as the bells are a bit more power hungry at 7-8A full power with this prop.

Dave: Thanks for the setup info. I guess maybe next time I should actually look at the material before I start firing out questions! The Estratos is also on my never-ending list of things to try.

Of the two the su is prefered for its longer flight times.. ive been too lazy to try the cdrom motor on the estratos, but I must give it a go.

will try...

....the converter has given some slightly odd results

some of the curves are now made from straight line sections, but you will see that easy enough.

Ive been using velcro to hold on my batteries... be warned the self adhesive tape type needs to be stuck to the depron with uhu por, (it does stick to the battery covering ok)
It will come away eventually under the stresses in flight and the plane will go haywire, mine just ended up in the top of a 40' tree

I found out that I can still climb trees at 57 and poked it free with a fishing rod.. should have sent the boy up there...must have been mad

Some zip files open for me & others do not. Can't explain it.
Perhaps poor computer skills.
Thanks much for the pdf's. I'm sure others will appreciate them as well.

Download and Use the free "adobe reader" to open the 3-pdf files, print from there, the outlines in red are the shape variation for the f15. The shapes are kept simple to let you measure and draw it out, rather than needing a full size plan. As long as you keep the topview the same the cog will not need changing.. you can mod the side view to get a better representation of you choice of aircraft if you want.

1..take your pics
2..use a photo editor to make the pics size smaller about 800x 600 ( less time to upload)and save the files as .jpg
3..in the reply go advanced
4..click on manage attachments
5..browse to where you saved your images, select your image or images, click on upload
6..when upload done..click on submit your reply

Dave..... can we have a close up of the dual control rod linkage on the su... did you have any problems getting it set up I can't see any adjusters how did you do it.

PS ..... A good photo converter is picassa and its free..... it also finds every image on your computer ( were did I save that photo of when I was young and handsome) and displays thumbnails into date order
