Well, if you're interested in a manly-man wing here is 52" of pure flying fun!

$3.00 airframe from fanfold foam you can build from plans at http://home1.gte.net/texhills/index.html or I can cut you cores from EPS in either blue or white!

Here are mine. Just received servos for my Razor 600 and ordered one of Acer's kits yesterday, which will stay in my truck at all times.

Bottom Of Mini S-Wing?

What's the bottom of the Speedwings look like?, I didn't like the Wedgie with the battery wires etc. out in the open exposed on the bottom. Is there some type of protective pod or somthing?

Thanks.

Here's a pic showing the bottom of the Mini SpeedWing. I have all the wiring buried in the foam and then covered with packing tape. The servo control horns stick out less than 1/8" so that isn't a problem. The Battery is velcroed to the bottom of the wing for two purposes. First, so that in the event of a hard crash, the battery ejects and lessens any damage that may occur to the wing because of the weight of the battery. Secondly, to fasilitate cooling of the battery.

In my instructions I tell you that you can cut away some of the ply motor mount once you find the C.G. so that you can insert the battery and have it flush with the bottom. Although this will weaken the keel somewhat. After countless full speed crashes I have yet to strip a gear or break anything with this wing.

My new Zagi. Wish I could take credit for the killa covering job, but I bought it premade.

My Wing-E. I CAN take credit for this covering job This little 24" screamer is a great flying plane. Fun alternative to foam-itis!
