FMS is available from http://simulator.home.pages.de/

You can build an adaptor for your Tx but it is a bit more than just a cable. There are a number of circuits around for both parallel and serial port connection. Parallel port is the simpler circuit but the printer ports on PCs are not very standard and sometimes it won't work.

For adaptor circuits try http://www.netexpress.net/~heilsoft/...rs/buddytx.htm
or http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/fms/fms_trans.htm

Anything which says it's for Futaba will also work with your Hitec.

I've just got my flash 5X working after a lot of hassle trying with the parallel interface, save youself the time and go straight for the serial one, it works great first time.

I couldn't find the schematic for the serial port interface. Could you please tell me where to find it.

The serial i/f/ is in the FMS manual at the address I gave previously. To be specific http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/fms/fms_instruct2.htm#serial
