Did anyone order the new metal tail pitch assy from Align

I've noticed a bunch of sites started carrying this part:
HS1200
http://www.align.com.tw/shop/product...oducts_id=1399

Did anyone order one yet?

Here is a thread about it. http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=21084
It's redesigned, the old one will be phased out.

Don,
ReadyHeli.com and TechModelProducts.com just added this to their list last night. Now I don't know anything about these helicopters as I'm still building (more like adjusting) my first one. Yesterday while compiling my parts order I've noticed this addition and have ordered this kit as a spare.

Now can someone answer one question, why doesn't Align sell the control arm for the tail without the whole damn control assembly?

Yes, it is different.
There are a couple reasons for this.
The tail hub has been redesigned because there was too much pressure being put on the grip bolts. Causing them to shear off.(note that the hub is black now, it's steel instead of aluminum)and shorter to allow the bearing to ride where it needs to.

According to other posts, the control assembly has been changed also because of binding on the tailshaft, the new design is supposed to correct this.
It is said that the new design has been copied in part from the better designs like Duzi has.
There was a big discussion about all of this over at helifreak a few weeks ago.

Hope this helps,
Don

Seems like a disconnect here -

The part vadim is referring to looks like a new slider mechanism (which I didn't know about).

But, you guys are talking about the new tail hub (which is great). I just put one on my Trex SE, and it's nice not having to worry about one of those tail blades coming at me unannounced.

I have been using this since August and had performed GREAT! Never once have I even bent it in a crash!

Is the new tail hub the HS1156?

1189-72 is supposed to be the new one: http://www.techmodelproducts.com/trex_upg.php
It says hub is aluminum, but the new black hub is supposed to be steel.
They say that the old grips will not fit the new hub. check the post that I posted above.

Sorry for my screw-up in the earlier post.

OK. The 1156 replaced the 1127, which is now replaced with the 1189.

And the 1201-72 is the 1200 tail linkage WITH the 1189 tail holder, at a savings of $5 over buying the two things separately.

The only problem with the 1201-72 is that not a single USA dealer has it.

I haven't assembled my SE yet and am going to start on it this weekend. I was checking Horizon to see if they were getting the upgraded parts and kept coming up with this part.

What assembly is that ?

It very well could be, I'm not sure of the part numbers. But I think (calls will be necessary here) 1200 is for the 450.

I have been waiting for one of these since August, I was forced to repair the one that broke when my Micro Tail hub came apart in the air. First time I did a Kaos, with a never ending piro to the ground didn't break anything;either. For those who are have the Micro Heli Tail slider it is easy to fix if you have your stock slider still!
But I want five of these kits and can't wait till DEETEE gets them.
So if anyone at Align is listening, I am tired of waiting! Hahahahaha! I have had three of thier original Alum hubs come apart, and only one caused a real bad crash.
I thought because I flew the cr_ _ _ out of my Heli's it was something that could happen.

Anyway it looks better and I hope that noone will ever have that wired problem again. It sure sucks, when it does.

Have Fun Elvan!
