Should it be doing that?

BL for Shogun that can be used in T-Rex or MX400?

Hi all.
The stock motor in my Shogun V1 died. (spins up the mains nice to a point and then just before lift-off it kind of just looses all power and just sits there like a nice gentile fan)

So, I want to get a brushless that I can use in this and then possibly use in a T-Rex or MX400 later. (no 3D, just tooling around the sky)

Can I do this or is the power requirements very different for these helis?

Thanks a bunch!

It's way overkill for a shogun but a 450TH outrunner will fit... just go with the smallest pinion possible.

I'm using the e-flight 20A esc from HobbyPeople. I don't think there are any settings for it.

I'll double-check, though.

Could my LiPos be bad? (I have two of the e-flight 1600 LiPos)

I haven't really put much time on either of them (10 maybe 15 recharges) since I haven't had much time to fly this heli.

Thanks for any help.
