4 cell trex Vs 3 cell trex / is your 4c flying apart?

Hey guys, i have been running 4 cells on my trex for about 4 months now and MAN how sweet it is.... BUT it seems like something is always going wrong with it! i have had so man mchanical crashed i am freakin off big time! So i want to know is it just me? I have replaced every part so far and still the same craziness. I am seriously thinking about going back to 3 cell.
What do you guys think?

when i ran 3 cell i did not have so many things flying apart on me in mid air and YES I LOCK TIGHT!

I also find it much harder to maintain and worse in a crash if you dont cut the throttle in time!

I'm using 4s and is very good. I tried a 5s, it's even better but the motor is really hot so I switched back to 4s.
I had no issues with 4s. Make sure everything is smooth and not loose.

PS I have a Mega 16/15/4 with about 2500 headspeed.

Oh, I forgot, better have a separate BEC with 4s than the one in the ESC.

4s will be fine if you goto the right pinion. If you try to keep on the same pinion your gonna screw it up. For instance I go 11T on a 3s and 9t on a 4s and get about the same HS just the punch with the 4s is alot better. If your gonna try to go 4s get a quality ESC such as a JAZZ.

what headspeed are you running, what motor, and what parts are breaking?

i would try and stay no higher than 3500RPM

i run my medusa 13t on my heli on 3s, i maxed 3500RPM and it was way too much. knock on wood, i gov it down to 3300RPM, no mechanical failures ever.
