What is a Graupner Ultra 1300-8 12v motor?


What is this motor? Where can you get one? And where can Ifind the specs on it?

It's a brushed high performance motor, with neodym magnets and replaceable brushes.
It's distributed by Graupner, you can find specifications on the main catalogue, which, unfortunately, is not available on the net. I hope some shop in you area has one...

It's quite heavier than equivalent brushless motors, but a bit cheaper (if I guessed your aims right... ).

Thanks Giacomo. Yes you guessed right. It is the Motor Graupner suggest for the Cosmic wind on 12 to 16 cells.

I still haven't decided. I think I need to put the model together first. THen wiegh it. THen decide.

I've just finished the first in-flight tests of the 45/3 on the Sonar. It's simply wonderful. I send you to the «PHASOR 45/3 test» topic because I don't wanna write twice (excuse me...)
