Permanently Banned
I sharpened my test probes to measure the exposed pins on side of balance connector, adjacent pins should read ~ 3.7-4.2V

Stop, please. Google, "how to use a multimeter" or similar. Before you ruin your meter, your battery or do worse. Also see the commonsenserc.com site, educational section for pack wiring. This will tell you the leads to test. Trust me, first, understand what to do before you start poking with a multimeter.

Look again at the commonsense as the wiring is for three cells (lipo).

http://www.commonsenserc.com/page.ph...g_diagram.html

In this diagram, testing black and blue gives you first cell; blue and yellow, second cell; yellow and red gives you third; black and red the whole pack. more:

But read about multimeters and don't touch the tips and short the pack out. You kind of need to study a bit and search. That's the only way. The answer was only several posts below your post.
