HI RCMCC Followers and Members,

I would like to propose a thought:

We all enjoy the 1/5 sized racing/speed/technology of our bikes. We also love CARVING the corners with other drivers on "Running the dots" day or maybe just 2-3 guys getting together in a parking lot with a few orange cones.

I have found racing these bikes to be both amazingly FUN and challenging, and AN AMAZEMENT TO THE OTHER RC CAR RACERS! (on the 1/5 scale circuit)

I propose a thought. Maybe we can also concentrate on the 1/8 scale bikes to run with the 1/10th scale tracks?????

Here is a good scale of a 1/8 scale bike on a 1/10th scale track:
GPV1 VIDEO GLASSES TESTING.avi (2 min 31 sec)

Maybe we can get some "real racing" with the 1/10th scale RC Car tracks like we enjoy with the 1/5th scale bikes?????

Note: I'm not really talking about the 1/8 scale Kyosho (with the EPS Plastic rider and bike body) Too fragile for "high speeds"

** I'm talking more about the more durable scaled down 1/5th style 1/8th sized bikes....ZH / OTO / http://2wheelhobbies.com/index.php?c...sort=2a&page=2 and a new bike CSC EL-5.8 that is coming out very soon.

What do you guys think???????

Anyone up for a Dots DayŠ on Feb 16 or 17? Also, there is a club race at GLARCRC on 2/23-2/24. Unfortunately, DLAWW can't make that date, but maybe if we get five people?

Speak up, let me know...

I have run my 1/8 scale bikes there many times on week days. It was a lot of fun and not too crowded. You probably might not want to try to run there on a weekend.

there is a link to the track on my web site www.gofasterracing.com
it has not been updated yet but trust me there are going to be some good changes. We are talking about getting rid or incorporating a 8th 10th scale track in the oval track.

there is also a rc flying club and a real motocross track.

kev if you want I'm on the way you would go. So if you want to ride up to the track just make it to san Carlos and I'll drive. I'm about 15 or 20 min north off you.
