ESC - Which one to get for a Twinstar?


I am looking for a ESC for y new Twinstar. and have listed those that I can get my hands on easily. Which of these have you tried, comments and reccomendations? TIA

Wattage IC 30

Great Planes C 30 Mini High Power

- (I believe that these two are the same thing!)

Sprite 25

Jeti 35

Wattage IC 380 AS Super ESC

I would buy the 35 amp esc (jeti). the 30 amp esc will work as well but it won't give you a large safety margin for future upgrades.

if you intend to use the rudder than make sure you get an esc with BEC capable of operating safely 4 servos.

Hi Alfred,
Am using a Jeti Jes 350 (bec) in my TwinStar, have uprated the motors to Jamara 480's using 4 servos (rudder) and all works OK.

Of those listed I would buy the Jeti 35.
I use an Astro Flight 30 amp, the 215D I think.

Thanks for all the input.

Looks like the Jeti is getting the nodd.

What is this based on?
The Amps it can handle or is it a really good ESC?

Should I go for the Multiplex 400 Duo? 40 Amps!
