Seem to have good prices....are they reliable? How long does the Internat air mail (not the esm) take to get to the states?

I've done 3 orders with them...first two went OK..something like 2 - 2 1/2 week turn around using the cheapest shipping option. My latest order was placed on 8/15...Paypal cleared on 8/18 but nothing else has happened...I've emailed twice with no response...web site says order is ready for dispatch..whatever that means. I plan on waiting a couple of more weeks then contacting Paypal about non shipment.....

Short story is good prices on what seem to be OK products..but it seems like order response/fulfillment is something of a hit or miss proposition. My guess is that the vendor may not have the items in stock regardless of what the web site says

Well the no reply to your email is not good. I can deal with 2 week shipping. They have 20c lipos that are 1/2 the normal usa price. Since they use paypal, paypal will pull your funds back out of their account...that will get their attention.

I ordered a brushless motor and esc from them. $25.20 including shipping. It got here( Canada) as fast as it would had I ordered from the US.
Packaging was basic at best, but everything arrived fine.

They sent me emails as the order progressed, and they have an online order tracking page as well.

Be aware that you are dealing under a different name with World Hobbies. Do a search on here for other opinions.

I bought one of their 2200mah 16-20C lipos as a test....the lipo they shipped looks the same but is labeled 2250 12-16c...doesn't really matter what it says but in comparison to the CSRC 2000mah 8C lipos I normally use they seem to have a little more early output maybe 10 to 12C but that seems to fall off pretty quickly (3-4 min) at a 10-12 amp load...one of these days I'll do a more exact comparison with my watt meter..With 3 cycles on the Hextronics pack I don't see any significant advantage with these lipos compared to the CSRC 8C packs which have more than 30 cycles on them. Possibly, if I had an application that was pulling more than 16amps the Hextronics cell might hold up better but that's not what I'm flying these days

A fair number of the World Hobbies complaints seemed to stem from shipping something (often batteries) different than what was ordered,
and their failure to rectify the situation in manner that satisfied the buyer.

In my case I mainly wanted to see what you would get for $25. I went in eyes wide open, prepared to be disappointed.

There are plenty of batteries out there that claim to produce so much yet are just another ordinary battery. We can assure you these batteries are greatly underrated and will certainly put out the capacity and C rating advertised.

I have done 3 motor orders in the last 6 weeks.

I did this with some trepidation after what I read but took a shot and was pleasantly surprised.

All orders arrived between 7 and 10 days with no problems at all.

That's my experience for what it's worth.
