Ghost

I saw the video you made to the Ghost in the Shell music and it is the freakiest coincidence! I didn't know about your video when I made my video of the Musashi construction last night. Did you hear the music that was playing on the CD player? If anyone, I figure you'd get it since you have the CD.

The nickname can be played with like "The Moose is loose" or "My Moose is cooked" or "A wild Moosechase".

Wish she could sail with the Mighty Y. Maybe I have to do a compilation video when Ed and I get our boats built!

What you may actually have here is a Moose's Leg, or moose foot.

Mus as Moose of course, but then,
ashi in Japanese actually means Leg or foot.

Umi sugoi!!!

Nihongo jozu! Anatawa nihonjin desuka? My wife is Japanese, so I pick up a little nihongo now and then. Still, I totally didn't notice the 'ashi' part!

Just glad the ship isn't named "Musoshirii!"

the music was from a war film, not Ghost in the shell, however in my forum in dock talk, Umi posted a link to a youtube film done to Ghost in the shell music, (think it was to Ghost in the shell2 as its not on the 1st sound track), that film was IJN manouvres.

oh all i got through the movie was an annoying buzz, no sound.

I may be wrong, but Musashi's name, like Yamato and Shinano, came from regions of Japan.

there will be pictures dont you worry about that, though as I am running out of video space on RC Groups there wont be any video work done

US battleships are named after states. Japanese ones were Provinces/Regions which is about equivalent to states. Interestingly enough, the most famed samurai in Japan's history is Miyamoto Musashi (Miyamoto from Musashi Province- they used the province as a person's last/family name early on). There was some hope that the 'luck'/name would carry over to the ship. I guess everyone was a bit disappointed.
