Thanks Guy’s ; You just saved me a lot of money, It look’s like they’re using the same hardware as the Flat-Out. Their planes come out heavy and are a builder’s night mare. And I wouldn’t recommend one to anybody.

Air Nerd; I have a great love for biplanes. I saw this little plane at the NEAT fair in NY last month. Almost bough one. That was until I seen the hardware package. You did a great job in keeping it light. I have one little question. And that is on removing the lower case on servos. How do you do it ? keep the motor in. Or can this only be done on certain servos ? A picture is worth a thousand words.
Have A Great Day. I hope yours flies as good as it looks.

Downwind1...I too have that special love for bipes.

I had seen the servo case removal here in the forums, On the HS-50s I just poped off the bottom and the HS-55s I unscrew the bottom then simply run a dremel cutoff wheel arround the furthest point down and remove the Extra plastic. then tiny dots of CA to hold everything together and some small shrink or tape around the servo.

These S-75s have been shaved a bit and shrinked. BTW these were done before I had a dremmel tool and I used pliers to break away the plastic.

Dang guys whats up ...Oh I guess you are waiting on some flight reports.

Here is mine...

I got to fly her Three times today .

Today is one of those day when it is relativly windy most of the day and then dies off to a dead calm after dark, you know what I am talking about right?

Well the fist flight was incredibly scary...I had the ailerons backwards!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! Well this little dude was allready a handfull as I had never flew it before, so it needed triming....elevator needing the most!

So I'm flyin this little bipe ALL OVER THE PLACE, and I remembered the time I had done this with my Outrage and corrected on the radio in flight. This one was a bit (cough...understatement) more twitchy than the Outrage, but I had some help this time...my freind got behind me and became my eyes to find the servo revesing menu.

After that it was a little more fun...meanning it IS a real pitchy plane.

I did manage to find out on the first flight that when equip with my setup, it has unlimited vert and good duration (took me along time to revese servo then re-trim).

Second flight was more better...I just flew it again with no changes (well batt of course). The wind did not let me get a good chance to examine it abbility but it there.

The third fight...ability started shineing through after I boosted the Expo all the way around and poped in a Tanic Pack 470 witch moved the CG up a bit (and added 10 grams).

I was practiceing landing patterns when a gust tost it on her side ...I recovered but she took a dive! She slamed the pavement and took a bow .

Well I ripped the pants and wheels off and suffered a broken prop but thats it.

All in all I thin with the Expo and new batt, she will be KILLER fun in still weather or indoors.

I will get pics and a vid of how much throw it has that gave me the most comfy flying.

Again more to come, AirNerd

"I passed on the kool-aid"
LS De Novo showed up today...thought it had gone MIA. Weight is now 7.6 oz. and I am very happy. Just need some good weather to try it out and for someone to figure out the mixing with this thing so we can use the rudder and not have it look like we are using ailerons.
