TWIN OTTER 3-D Drawing


Can any member have a twin-otter plans ? I would like to build a 2 meter models But i need to find a 3-D drawing or a plastic status models to scan . Can have any idea to find this plastic models or 3-D file ?? I lover this plan very very much ! Waiting for your good news

Hi Kin,
Here it is. The drawings are in pdf format as this is the largest size I can fit the drawings into. If you increase the size by 600% you will still have a good drawing as it was scanned in high resolution.
Hope this should be good for you

Holy cow... I'd been away for a couple years, and when I came back, one of the things I was looking for was the "sticky" of the 3-view plans thread.

Could. Not. Find. It.

I thought, "Hmmm... maybe it's in another forum" so I searched, and searched, and searched. But lo and behold... here it is again! I wish it would be left as a sticky.... seems to me that's the right place for it.

We have a 3-views and Scale Drawings Forum, now. And some of us are busy creating separate threads for individual aircraft types.

I'd like to think the contents of this thread will be transferred over to that forum, in time.

Yes, I'd found that, but it wasn't quite the same thing. This thread allows for scrolling through and finding all kinds of things that one might not normally think of or even know the name to ask about. The other forum seems to be geared more towards those who know what they are seeking / building.

I absolutely agree. The 3-views forum needs a thread thumbnail feature to be a replacement for this thread.

Also, the most recent posts to this thread are very unuseful (just a step up from useless) for exactly that reason - without thumbnails the workload it takes to browse the planes goes up so much that I skip all of them except for names I recognize.

I will consider a way to provide that capability. The problem I have to think over is that the thumbnails result from uploading a file to the RCGroups server, which is not always strictly legal for a submitter to do, as we are bound by the copyright laws of the USA, home of the RCG servers.

We could, in theory, move this thread to the 3V forum... but I dont know how much benefit that would provide.


I will think on a technical solution.
