RC Star Trek Enterprise

I've wondered if anybody has built an RC version of the USS Enterprise, I can't find any reference to it with the search engines outside of the die cast crowd. Looking at the design, it doesn't seem flight worthy but took note as to where the saucer section mounts to the rest. I was thinking a profile type of system for the engine/fuse would be better suited since that would provide control surfacing rather then drag.

Logical Psycho,

I find both videos amazing. But, the one with the Veritech is like a dream come true. Seriously. That is something that I have dreamed of for over 20 years. If they can do it, I can do it. Where did you find those videos, and are there any more photos that I can examine?

Thanks,
David

There is another Enterprise foamie somewhere. Keep searching, I found it last year complete with plans and video. Sorry I don't have more info. Consider it a 5 year mission to boldly go where no foamie pilot has ever been.....

Your version looks really scale, can you elaborate upon what you put into it, a close up photo would be nice as well, this is really impressive.

SG Talon... Super Genius.
I didn't build an Enterprise. It seemed too unstable but i did build a USS Reliant. I have lost the intestinal fortitude to try to fly it though. After a less than spectacular test glide session i have determined that it is going to be very difficult to actually fly.

But my kids keep bugging me to get it going. Maybe i will have to do it.

here is the link to the build thread

Not my plane, just one that I found on the web. Website is listed though I am sure if you email him he will tell you more about it.

Enterprise A

Hi guys: My friend John made this. He got the plans from Model Aviation. I'll have him chime in since I just shot the video and he actually built the plane....err...ship.
