Enlarged Plans for 6mmFlyRC F-4 Phantom Added!!

Great news,

After speaking with CBFlyGuy from 6mmFlyRC, I have been given permission to add their F-4 Phantom to my list of Enlarged ParkJet plans. I received the files yesterday, and just finished printing a 150% set for myself. Woo-Hoo!

I will be making this one available in the same sizes as the rest of the plans I sell. The original ParkJet version of the plane has a 28.5" wingspan, a 38.5" fuselage length, and a wing area of 297 Sq. In. Here is a photo of the original plane.

Here is a list of the various sizes in the different enlargements.

Scale ..... Wingspan ... Length ..... Wing Area

133% ........ 37.9" ........ 51.2" ........ 525 Sq. In

150% ........ 42.8" ........ 57.8" ........ 668 Sq. In.

166% ........ 47.3" ........ 63.9" ........ 818 Sq. In.

175% ........ 49.9" ........ 67.4" ........ 910 Sq. In.

200% ........ 57.0" ........ 77.0" ........ 1188 Sq. In.

I still need to add a few details to the plans, and generate all the different sizes, but they should all be ready by next week. The prices will be the same as the other plans, ranging from $15.00 to $25.00 per set plus shipping, which are listed in the following thread. Original Large Scale Plans Thread

If anyone wants to order them now, just send me a PM. I will send you payment instructions, and you can go to the front of the list.

I am going to start on mine so I can have it done in time for Vegas in November! Too much fun!

Got to get bacK to AutoCAD, so I will talk at you all later.

Just to give a perspective on size, here is my big F-4, it is the same size as Luciens 150% enlargement. Amazing how 50% makes such a much larger bird. This weighs in over 4 lbs. The TX is for a scale reference. They are great fliers at any size too.

weight/what power?

"J" what is the AUW and what are you using for motor ,prop ,and batt. just trying to see if the size is right ,i want to do a built up wing and put mini retracts, i think with the right KV motor and small prop it might have clearance to rotate and not hit the prop,if motor was mounted as high as poss. thnks Rodger.out.

AS,
I fly this one with a Mega 22/20/3E on a driveshaft. It took 8-3300 nimh's to balance. No excess power here at about 70 oz. I'm planning on changing to a pusher with an AXI 2820/12 and 10-7E APC like in the F-18. That is one awesome motor of over 500 watts. May have to bite the bullet and go a little heavier but it will handle it. As it is , it floats on landing.
