Great to see the new forum up and running GPW. Great work by all the fella's involved. I have not flown yet as the wind has not let up since I last posted plus I have been at work. Yes that four letter word. It will be on 2cells / 800mah as you suggested. Possibly tomorrow or Friday. I'll have a report as soon as I can.

"Get some Video "......HA!!! Easy to just say ,eh ???
I'd love to make and post videos here... BUT , No camera , and I have slow dial UP which would take me a month to upload... Besides after all this time , you'd think someone would believe me when I say it flies good .... hahahahahahahaha Schmaybe' not .... You'll just have to believe the EYEWITNESS'S and modelers who have taken the 10 minutes to build one .... |

Just a question for you GPW. This build is not going to be quick for me as I am doing a ton of stuff at the same time. Anyway, next ufo won't be per plan with cdrom, since I need a break from the cdrom thing before I go crazy. I did glue up another ufo airframe. This one is 4' diameter, for the ABC guts again.......no, I never learn. Only elevon plane I have had experience with is Jer's Simple Wing, and I found if you start with too much surface movement you're more screwed than not enough. Anyway, should I be making elevons twice the size, or will the three inch deep elevons steer that size disk fine?

Ok... I'll see about bringing the camera this weekend... Maybe we can get a few minutes of video to show-off the UFO. Lights would be cool if they are ready ![]() Also, I started on my UFO last night... Thinking that I might stick with a J250 on this one too. Think it'll fly? Or do I have to get the BL gear out of the shed? -mike s. |

Many years ago GPW I worked for airline here in OZ. A mate of mine who still is in the industry just sent me some photo's of Oshkosh 2006 and their trip. This photo reminds me of a landing site in a movie about the above aircraft you designed. A bit of subject I know.

Hi Uproar90 ( Mike ).
This morning was its maidenflight. Have not flown it without the bottlecaps but it seemed to perform as advertised by GPW (Great ). Flew 2 packs through her this morning and no hiccups what so ever( unusual for me ) in her performance. Regards Box |
