Wattage 7-8 cell, 650mah NiMH question

A couple quick questions, how much do these batteries weigh? Also, any reports on how they work?

Patrick, I don't know exact weight but I know
that the Wattage 650 NiMH are Sanyo cells and one these cells is 13 grams. So the 7 cell pack should have around 100 grams complete. What are you going to use them for ?

According to Mike Greenshields at Hobby People these cells are manufactured by Panasonic. They are AAA size and definitely will sustain a fairly high amp draw for nimhs of this size as I successfully use them on a 280BB motor with a 5:1 gearbox which draws about 8 amps. An 8 cell pack weighs about 4 oz.

My understanding was that these cells were NOT Sanyo. The Sanyo AAA NIMH cells carry a 720 mah rating now and have a very low internal resistance.

FWIW -

I have an 8 cell pack and a 6 cell pack of these (they are Panasonic cells). The 8 cell pack is dead after perhaps 40-50 cycles. Never charged at more than 900mah and discharged at 5.4 amps max.

The 6 cell pack still performs well but it was discharged at a lower rate.

My Energizer 700mah AAA NiMH cells, on th eother hand, have been abused and still perfrom very well.
