Mounting bolts for Hacker B20 w/4:1 gear box

I am looking for the two tiny machine screws used to mount a geared Hacker B20. Preferably short ones.

Thanks.

Metric Machine Screws

The hacker motor front bell uses a 2.5mm x 0.45 thread.
[actually 2.6mm fits my Hacker tighter]. But,due you need
screws to mount gearbox to motor or screws to mount the
gearbox to firewall ? I don't know what gearbox you are
using, but have 2.5 and 2.6 screws to fit motor. I can help
you if you give me more detail on what you need. Cecil

Hiya Cecil,
I'm pretty sure it's the bolts that go into the GB to mount the motor (the smaller ones). That's what I got out of it anyway.

See the Hacker outline dwgs. here :

The gearbox mounts to the firewall with M2 screws. Screw length depends on the firewall thickness.

Just go to the hooby shop and dig around the RC Cars section. I think DuBro has M2 screws in a bag. Just cut it to length.

Hi guys,

Gearbox to firewall is correct. M2 (2mm) by 4mm long. I did go to a machine shop and tried M2 machine screws, but they were very loose (sloppy) as if they were slightly too thin.....maybe there is no way to get around that??? Worried about easily stripping the brass threads on the gearbox.

Any advise?
