Miss Elam, Miss Llumar, Miss Bud tip
I found that after I got a little bot of water in my engine bay of my Miss Elam Plus my engine liked to take a gulp of water, thus dieing in the middle of a lake and getting hydrolocked. I also found this to be the one thing that made what whould have been a fun day running my hydro into a headache. Anyone else out there have this same problem? Well here is a simple fix for it and ProBoat even gived you the part you need to make it happen.
Take the extra silicone tubing for the exhaust and put it over the carb intake. That simple and after 2 tanks of gas run out of the boat I did not have any problems. I did have water in my engine bay but none in my engine. look at the pics for what I did
If anyone else has any tips on this series of boat or any other hydroplane out there please post them here.
