Depron is the brand name of extruded foam sheet (polystyrene), you can find it in some building store (3 or 6mm thick for 1,25 x 0,8m)...

the rigger is made on depron too, you're right.

I'm waiting for the motor at my local store
Then I will keep post on the mini cobra 400 !!!

Yes, CoG is at almost 30%...
I didn't cover the depron, but If I knew how to make epoxy and fiber I would have done it...
The Tamiya connector aren't very good, but I have only that kind on all my models (driving and flying)

PS: my friend has built this one :
It is not that hard to fiberglass your little boat. using 30 minute epoxy and some 3/4 ounce fiberglass. You could do the bottom in one piece and the top in another. The 3/4 ounce glass will contour around the radius very well. I use it on my edf jets. You mix the epoxy 50/50 or 60/40 with denatured alchol. this will make a nice thin mixture. Drape a piece of fiberglass over the bottom of the boat and I use a solder flux brush to spread the thinned epoxy. over the glass. brush it out to keep it thin. let it setup for fifteen minutes and put another coat. I use two or three coats to fill the weave just dont let it start to puddle up. If it does you can dab the puddles up with paper towel. For more strength add two or three layers of glass. let it harden and sand. Hope this helps its not hard at all. Then flip the boat sand off the overhanging glass and then do the top. Dave

For my wooden monos (22" ), i use finishing epoxy on the inside and let set for 24 hours and the same for the cobra outside.
