They say that this plane will thermal. How stable do you think it would be? I can't help but think the slightest wind will flip this thing unless you are doing a fair clip. Didn't the original Northrop Wing have stability issues?

Hey D9
Do you slope at all (is that the proper expression?). Anyway...I was looking at some gliders yesterday on the net and ran across these.

The second is a real beaut with retracts the works. Yhea I know they are TA-152s and not D9's but they are still long nosed FW's. So they changed the name to reflect the designer. bahhh...what's in a name huh

If Alfa or FSK made it, and it actually looked like a N9M... I'd buy one! 8^)

This thing looks nothing like it!

Well....atleast the original is still beautiful. Here was my attempt at a converted Zagi several years ago. It was definately stand-off also.

That does sound weird!

And $109 for a slab of EPP foam?? Gimme a break.
It must be those high licensing fees.

I though great, something to replace my late 72" Zagnuts....count me in. I was pumped until I saw the price. Really, for a simple foam wing with what appears to be pretty poor details...over $100, I don't think so. Too bad.

Actually I just ordered an Ultrafly BAE Hawk from Tower Hobbies ($49.95) to use the recently departed Me109's flight gear. It could be a candidate for NEAT.
