a few questions to better answer your question.

-how big is the model?
-how heavy is the model?

mine comes in at 250grams RTF. and runs a 1500kv 26g motor and using a 800mah 2s.

has 1:1 power to weight with an 8x4 prop. and i would get about 9-11mins on a battery.

mine is 800mm long x 600mm wingspan.

also check your cg.. needs to be right for these types of planes.

here are some pics and specs that i have now the maiden is out of the way...

using the design listed on this thread, the CG is 90mm aft of the leading edge of the wing where the wing joins the fuse. note this plane has a wingspan of 600mm.

flying weight is now 289g..

power to weight is pretty much right on 1:1 with a 26g 1500kv motor from hobbyking.

have now rewound the 1500kv motor with 20awg wire. managed fill up the stators with just 4 turns! i guesstimated the kv at around 4100kv now. was spinning a 8x4 prop on the 1500kv version, now running a 4x2.5 on the newly wond motor on 2s 800mah, sounds like a formula 1 car during a fly-by and i get about 10mins flight time. loving it!

I have one question, the ailerons are working in this particular case to control the roll and pitch?
Can you post the specs of the servos, motor, prop, esc, and batter?
please please, I'm a newbie
