Today I had the pleasure of test flying a new Minimum that I assembled for a friend.
At the last minute I stuck a camera on for the ride and got this footage. Now it's not particularly good footage BUT it is the very first flight ...and we all now that thinks can go wrong very quickly on these occasions.
It flew very pleasantly with only a couple of minor trim adjustments and at about 3.44 you can even see the idiot on the ground waving his arms to show that the model is flying 'hands off"
Pity about that bloody battery warning beeper!
ah well ..can't have every thing.

Great video, Chris! You are certainly a master builder and set-up artist for model autogiros, as I know how difficult it can be. Although I have built and flown a half dozen of these of various design, I have never had one fly hands off and all dialed in on the maiden flight!.

My hat is off, please stand up and take a bow.

Cheers!

Hummmmmm, apparently, allegedly Jack Nicklaus was being interviewed on the radio at the height of his career. The interview said that he had been lucky during the last tournament to which he replied "yep, and the strange thing is, the more that I practice the luckier I get"....
