Alternate lift theories
Hi,
i need links to sites about theory of lift and other aerodynamic topics, things like Bernoulli's vs deflection of airflow. There have been threads before but I can't find them. There was one really good site that covered just about everything, but as usual all my favorites were lost in my last crash. So if any one knows of any it would be much appreciated. Grant |

Re: Alternate lift theories
Here's a few for ya.
If you haven't been to the pprune site before, lots of interesting reading in the TECHLOG forum. Somwhere in one of these threads, I remember reading a comment something like "although there might not be a complete perfect theory for lift, the theory is good enough to be used to design the flying aircraft that we *do* have now...". A number of people have also pointed out that the Newton vs Bernoulli theories are really just two different ways of explaining the same thing.
