When I originally read the description I assumed that the author's first language was something other than English.

I used to work with a company that had an assembly facility in New Mexico. For whatever reason, purchasing contacted a number of vendors that provided a given part. One vendor, whom had a good reputation and fair price, was located in Texas.
Vendor in Texas: Where should we ship the item?Ē
Coworker: yada, yada, yada, New Mexico
Vendor: I am sorry, we donít ship to Mexico
Co-worker: no, I am in _New_ Mexico
Vendor: I donít care if you are in New Mexico or old Mexico, we donít ship to Mexico.

Ah yes, sounds like another story for the back page feature in New Mexico Magazine - "One of our Fifty Is Missing". We (former) New Mexicans always thought of Texas as a foreign country anyway .

All right quit cutting on us Texans, besides that Mexico,New Mexico thing is as old as the hills I've heard that story relating to New Yorkers and others for years, are you sure that's not an old wives tell. And this story probably is too as it relates to a New York FBI agent calling a Dallas agent and asking him if he could drive over to El Paso and question a suspect (as if EP was just down the road)then the DAllas agent had to explain that El paso was a 10-12 hour drive, don't forget there's stories about every part of the country, besides if you don't leave us alone we'll have to kick your butts in football go Cowboys.

The owner really enjoys it. As you may know, it appears to have come straight out of the forties, always a pleasure to see him puttering along. I have yet to witness any problems starting or mechanical malodies. Does seem to be rusting prematurely - but the owner seems to prefer the "patina".
