Hi Ice Wind, I had one with a small MPJet outrunner. An AXI 2208/26 is a better option, but it flyes great even with my setup.
Good luck with it.

It looks great! I bet that outrunner makes the wing really fly!!!
What battery are you using?
The only Axi i have avaiable is a 2208/34 i think, i'm no sure. But i guess i'll upgrade it from the speed 400 to an outrunner too.
It was with that in mind that i made that motor mount. (3x that in a sentence, doesn't rcgroups have a spellchecker? ...it should )

You need something about 1400KV. I think an AXI2208/34 is too slow (1100KV). The MPJet I am using has 1400KV, AXI 2208/26 - 1420KV.
I used APC 8x3.8 and GWS 8x6 props. GWS is a better option, it is very flexible and doesn't break when you land. Battery: 7.2V/1500-2000mAh Lipo.
I got about 40 minuts from the bigger battery, 1500mAh is about what you need.

I got some etec 7,4V - 1700mah and gws 11,1v - 1300mah .
But has i'm using the speed 400 i need something to make this motor alive so i'll try the 11,1v.
The prop will be a 5043 fro gws.
I hope i can make it fly, i'm being helped by a great friend if not i would have messed this all up!

It is easy to fly and can survive a few crashes.

An here it is, ready to fly.
I had to change the motor, the 400 i had was a litle stuck and i had another brand new.
I've tested it to see if it has enough trust and it seems so, holding it prop facing down about a bit more than half it starts to want go up.

Finally the maiden.
It flys perfectly it's awesome!!!
It really can glides at low speed, and if i push the throtle forward it gains speed very quickly and even going vert. Despite the motor be a 400 brushed the performance is great.

Have a look at the maiden flight.

I have thye swift powered by a df300 and 3s 860 lipo That's defenetivel˝y my favorite wing.
With a gunther prop goes vertical unlimited, not extremely fast, defenetively not speed rocket but it flies failry rapid and above all slows down more than my IFO.
Plus thermals better than my easyglider.

I just ran across these wings today....awesome selection of graphics, and for $35 I can't believe that people aren't all over these things.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw them for sale at the JR Indoor Festival. I bought one but I'm not sure when I'll get around to installing the electronics. A quick test fit finds that the servo bays are cut just a little farther away than the servo wires are long. Oh well, I'll have to break out the iron I guess.

I was thinking of using a light slow setup. I have a power system left over from an old Slofly Micro 22. Slow with good acceleration. Might not work but I'm going to try it anyway.
