The Medusa 4000Kv is too mild for most fan use...takes too many cells for really high RPM.
The Medusa 5300Kv is the real fan motor...does well on 3 cells. It gives a little more power than the Feigao 5300 at about the same amp draw...it is a little more efficent. It costs more...the eternal tradeoff.
Also, do you mean the 3 blade 2" pitch impeller, or the 3 blade 3" pitch impeller.
The 5 bladed rotor makes the most thrust, but is also a very large amp load for the 12mm brushless motors
I sense you are rather new at EDFs, based on your questions.....If I were you, I would start out with the Feigao 5300 or the Medusa 5300 and 3S packs and get your feet wet. Start out with the stock 3 bladed 2" pitch unit and then experiemnt from there. New rotors to test later are cheap. Do consider making the bolt on fan mod to prevent loosing the fan in flight.
Do some searches on the EDF50 and motors for it...tons of info has been posted over the last couple of years.
