The roof of another main hazard. The Church. The extension on the left is where I was practicing touch and goes on the roof with the Gym-E and on the last one didn't apply power fast enough and got hung up on the ridge cap!

Took advantage of the fact the old guys disappear about 10 am. to go to the field and fly where ever I want, with the GL and the vertical camera installation.
This is the best shot; almost exactly along the edge of the flight line safety fence and aligned with the runway heading.
The two Kadets have been dusted off getting ready for the All-Kadet flyin the first weekend in November.. (8 more to go...)

Here's an aerial shot of my favorite flying field. Two soccer fields side by side with an open area behind them.

We fly from the small concrete pad in the grass near the lower left corner. The parking area is the small dirt lot on the lower left. And the tree slalom course is between the sidewalk and the soccer field.

Great site!! How far do you have to drive to get there?
My 3 soccer field site is 15 miles from my house and it's always a crap shoot as to who is using the facilities!!! There are signs all over saying no cars on the fields and if softball is going on 3 fields away there are cars parked all over the site!!!

I measured the field of view of the Pencam.. photo'd a 6 foot object 10' away, and measured pixels..
Fov is 48.9 degrees long side, 37.5 degrees short side..
Using the 1/2 angle formula then, I computed the altitude for the airfield image as 198'.

Hi Boomer, there are a couple of parks with baseball fields on the way, but the site in the pic is bigger and more open. It's 2.4 miles from my house.

I kind of cheated with that pic. The strut might give it away. But I did take it yesterday.

Wanna know if my GWS Tiger Moth will fly with Aiptek mini pen-cam 1.3. I believe this is the smallest/lightest best buy camera for slow fly aero photos? Will buy one and try if someone can give me feedback.
Plan to get Crazy Max for next plane. How would this be as platform for this cam?
