Couple new additions - Stout JW60 and Light XR

Here is my neighbor's (KPIG) newest edition: a 47 oz JW60 - will be hard to miss this one:

And here is my latest: an ultralight CombatWings XR... done in Nelson LITEfilm covering... used a 5 cell battery and 311 ($9 ea) servos, along with a Berg RX. 14.95 ounces, maidened today... flies great! Need to add some tail weight, had a quarter taped on the bottom of the rear and the elevons still were trimmed up from flat for flat flight.

Got a little fruity on the bottom side, lol:

Here is my hatch, closed:

Here is the instructions for the covering I used:

Sorta transparent:

Who's Nelson and when did he start making monokote light?

Seriously though, I have mixed feelings about the color schemes on those planes. You guys need to get out a little more. (from he who shouldn't be talking)

NICE... talk about COLORS!!!!

belive it or not the JW is a very nice flyer at the high 40oz range... you'll freak out how light it will still fly and what it can penetrate..

The top of that XR makes it look like an XP4/4.5....the bottom make it look like a VH1 commercial.

I laaauuuuuvvveee it.

I dig it.

Yes!!! That was what I was trying for on the top, flattered someone saw that...

And... the "XR-P4":

I admit.... it was 2AM when I started covered the bottom of the plane, some beer was involved, but no village people. Macho macho plane. lol
