Hmm, the Ultimate sure looks a lot like the one that Mike Glass designed over in the micro forum, Mike even has the printed tissue graphics that one can print..... https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...9&page=7&pp=15
Here is one that I built from Mike's plans. Power 7mm pager motor direct drive, Plantraco receover and BSD micro actuators. All up weight 16 grams and 11" wingspan. |

Nitrostar,
Here is the link to Fliton's electric planes. http://fliton.com/new/doc/frame.asp I could not find any pictures of the airfoil but will keep looking. The reason I ask for 6mm is, I mainly use FFF not Depron, so if you design using 3mm, I will make the adjustments necessary to build with Fanfold. |

Don't get me started.... Too late. Let's see... Working late (40+ hours in a 9-5), starting a new business besides my 9-5, fighting with the wife (we're having a good one right now), 20mo. old doesn't want to go to sleep until 11PM at night (he's still fighting with the wife in the other room where she's trying to put him to sleep), electricity still has not been hooked back up in my shed (have to wait for a friend/electrician to come install a 'meter-pan'), so all the work I can do is either during free daylight hours (they don't exist), or in the house. Did I mention 'newly renovated house'. So in other words... Any scraps, tape, paper, templates, etc. that get dropped on the floor get the 'eyebrow' and 'sigh of despair' before I even have a chance to pick them up. Building inside just isn't going to work for me. I need my shop back! BTW ewo - that new plane is gorgeous... Hopefully my skills will improve to a fraction of what I've seen here when I finally have somewhere 'decent' to build again. -mike s. |

Couple of questions that I forgot to ask earlier...
That looks like a CD-ROM (gobrushless type) motor on the 'new bipe' how many turns are you running on your cd motors? wire size? prop size? On the 'prototype'... Is the wing covered? Looks kinda shiny from here... Or like the foam you used had some sort of skin. On the 'production model' are those 'sharpie graphics' or some type of printing? Did you make the new bipe out of the stuff you got from 'rcfoam.com' ? and how do you like it so far? sorry for the 20 questions... Just like to learn and really like how those look... -mike s. |

Yea............................
Its the heat. I need equipment for the new Bipe onlything i can bare to part with is the original one. Just one problem, it just wont break ! so im taking the parts out anyways....... Uproar its 6mm depron for fuse and 5mm rcfoam from rcfoam.com for wings on the proto i found a way to make the full sheets flat as a pancake and i dont have to touch em........ and thats not your cdrom motor, thats a komodo single 17 turn with 24g and 9047 prop on 910 3cell tp batt.......i wound it myself..... my favorite motor right now.
