What colour of monokote covering for a Piper Cub.

My local Hobby Shop has 2 yellow of monokote coverings. I'm not sure which one to use. The person at the shop gave me the deeper yellow saying it was "cub yellow" but since they sold me the wrong size mounting bolts for my engine I have lost faith that they know what they are talking about.

From pictures I have seen most cubs are a lighter yellow colour. Does anyone know the monokote part # that would be correct for a cub....or does anyone have any advice on the choice between a lighter brighter yellow as compared to a darker deeper yellow?

Use whatever looks good to you. Monokote has labels on their rolls of covering; whatever you bought should be labeled Cub Yellow. The darker yellow is more scale, but there are plenty of colors that look good on a Cub.

The darker yellow is the Cub Yellow.

White also makes a very neat Cub, check this out...

The darker (school bus) yellow is the more accurate choice.
But I would encourage you to go wild and use another color
(unless you are going to compete in a scale contest).
How about a Orange cub, or green.....
