MX 400 or T-Rex 450 X CDE w/25G esc and 430LF brushless motor ?

I'm looking ahead to something without a tail motor and more stability outdoors in a breeze. I'm currently flying a Honey Bee 2 FP, and have a Blade CP that will be getting more airtime soon. I'm good at hovering except nose-in , and have recently been doing some forward flight and large circles outdoors when the wind lays down.

I was considering the Helimax MX 400 ARF, but this T REX includes the esc and motor for about $65 more. Granted, the 400 is an ARF and the T REX is a kit. The MX 400 Pro is $300 with motor and esc. Are there other differences I'm missing ? I see there are many grades of T REX also.

I have the Aerobatic Enhancement kit for my Blade CP. Perhaps this is all the helicopter I need for the near future ? Thanks for any insight.

Go for the Rex. It can only make you better with your own repairs if you put it together yourself.

Get the one that your LHS carries. I have both and they each have strong and weak points (as you will probably hear!). But the one that you can get parts for without waiting is the best!
