Hi Ron, Just answered your reply to my post " diy brushless ESCs". Pity I didn't see this first. Now, the problem with this is that I, unfortunately, only speak english. Is there anyway that I can communicate with this fellow to get the info I want?

Tobi is a student, English should not be a problem for him. Here's his address:

You can use to translate the German thread, sort of.

You can also order kits from

--> click 'SPEEDY-BL self made brushless controller' in menu

Several members of the lrk diy brushless outrunner motor e-mail group have already built a speedy-BL:

You can contact the designer at
It has two programmable devices.
Prices mentioned in the German thread, including PCB, FET's, programmed controllers, T's, C's, R's, IC's, building manual (disk or CD), but without cables and connectors:
* SBL-Classic II: 55,00 Euro [6Fets IRL3803, LM 2940 CT]
* SBL-Sprint + one Powerboard: 80,00 Euro [24*Fets IRF7455, L4941B]
* Extra Powerboards for SBL-Sprint: 34,50 Euro each [24*Fets IRF7455]
* SBL-Mini: 54,00 Euro [Fets 3*Si4463DY + 3*IRF7455, L4941B]

This should give you an indication, 1=1USD

Sorry if I confused - I deleted my thread above - I had offered to mass assemble some on my SMT equipment for cheap, but the cost of the ESC kit may preclude anyone wanting to pay extra for the assembly.

Still, if there were enough interest to justify my cost, I could certainly entertain the idea of assembling a bunch of these.

I am very interested in the Speedy-Classic 2, but am tight for cash right now, how long is this offer going to last? Also, how would this transaction take place? Would I send the funds to you, then you send them to the kit manufacturer, and then you get the kits, and you send me one of the kits?
